Sissel Aurland is a Norwegian artist born 1966 in Harstad. Currently living in Lillestrøm and working at KunstSkansen artist community in Blaker. 

 

I work with drawing, performance, installation, and audio. In my recent work, I explore the intricate relationship between humans and the natural world. Recognizing that we are part of the matter we explore and that everything is interconnected, I focus on the process of co-creation with both materials and landscapes, allowing time to manifest through the work.

 

Member of the Norwegian Association of Visual Art (NBK and NNBK), Performance Art Bergen (PAB), as well as SEFF! art group and KunstSkansen artist collective.​​​
